Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is currently available by subscription for $99 per month in the United States. Tesla may change its pricing or availability at any time.
Because it is a monthly subscription, you can evaluate whether its benefits justify the cost without making a permanent purchase commitment.

New Teslas generally include a Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty of four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty coverage varies by model and configuration. Model Y coverage is generally eight years and either 100,000 or 120,000 miles, with minimum 70% battery-capacity retention during the warranty period. The exact coverage should always be verified for the specific vehicle and VIN.
A pre-owned Tesla purchased directly from Tesla may include the remaining Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty followed by additional used-vehicle coverage. Vehicles purchased from another dealer or private seller generally retain only the remaining transferable original warranty, if any.
Title history, modifications and prior damage may affect coverage.

Yes. We help you determine whether buying new or pre-owned is the stronger choice for your life and budget.
If buying new is the stronger choice, we help you compare current configurations, pricing and financing and select the vehicle that best fits your life.
For a pre-owned vehicle, DOSHI charges $1,500 to identify your strongest options.
We begin by understanding your needs and budget. We then search and compare price, mileage, model year, hardware, FSD eligibility, title and accident history, ownership history, warranty, condition and overall value.
Instead of sending you a list of listings, we present the strongest options and explain the tradeoffs so you can make a confident decision.
Inspections, transaction support, transportation, setup, training and other White-Glove services are available separately through our broader service paths.
DOSHI offers three ways to work together:
- Easiest Path — We manage it. Our most complete, hands-on service.
- Shared Journey — We do it together. You stay involved while DOSHI guides and coordinates the process.
- Decision Support — You lead; we provide the expertise. Focused guidance when and where you need it.
Pricing varies by service level, location and whether you already own the right vehicle. Each option has a defined service price and may offer a payment plan. After the included follow-up period, ongoing support is available for $25 per month with an annual subscription.

Full Self-Driving and today’s technology
Understanding What’s Possible
When technology becomes genuinely useful, life can become larger.
For years, Tesla’s vision for Full Self-Driving was more compelling than the everyday experience. We followed its development, tested its progress and remained cautious.
Something has changed.
Supervised Full Self-Driving still requires an attentive driver. But in our judgment, it has crossed an important threshold: it can now meaningfully reduce the effort of driving and expand what feels possible.
That is why we are recommending it now—and helping people adopt it confidently.
It can be—when you understand how to use it confidently and take advantage of its capabilities.
Many people receive the technology with little personal instruction. They experiment cautiously, become frustrated or use only a small portion of what the car can do. That makes an advanced—and expensive—feature much less valuable.
DOSHI changes that. We help you understand the vehicle, practice using Supervised Full Self-Driving, recognize when to intervene and become proficient rather than simply figuring it out as you go.
Our goal is to make sure the technology you purchased genuinely improves your driving experience.
No. Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is an advanced driver-assistance system, not an autonomous driving system.
It can perform much of a trip, sometimes with very little driver input, but the driver remains responsible. You must remain attentive, recognize when the system needs help and be prepared to take full control—even if the car has not asked you to.
The simplest distinction is:
Level 2: You supervise the system.
Level 3: The system drives until it asks you to take over.
Tesla FSD (Supervised) is currently Level 2.
SAE International defines six levels of driving automation. At Levels 0–2, the driver remains responsible for monitoring the road. Beginning at Level 3, responsibility can shift to the automated system under specific conditions.
Tesla FSD (Supervised) remains Level 2: the driver must continuously supervise it and be ready to take control. The classification is based on responsibility—not simply how capable the system feels.
No driver-assistance system eliminates risk. Tesla Full Self-Driving remains a supervised Level 2 system, and the driver must continuously monitor the road and be prepared to take control.
A maneuver may be completed without incident and still feel uncomfortable—such as moving toward an exit later or more abruptly than you would prefer. Every driver has a different comfort level.
DOSHI teaches you to anticipate the car’s behavior, recognize its limitations and take full control before a maneuver becomes uncomfortable. Our goal is responsible supervision and a journey that feels calm, predictable and comfortable.
What this can look like
More reasons to say yes.
The difference may not be one dramatic trip. It may be the appointments, visits and ordinary drives that become easier to say yes to.
The long appointment
A three-hour drive to the specialist—the kind that can’t be rescheduled. Supervised assistance handles the highway miles while the driver stays attentive. They arrive less tired than they expected.
The visit that matters
A family visit someone might otherwise postpone because the drive has begun to feel too demanding. They went. It wasn’t the last time.
The ordinary week
Errands, school pickups, familiar routes. The same drives—just calmer. A little less to manage by the time they get home.
The car they share
He always drove. Now she needs to. Two profiles, one car and a technology that adjusts to both—so neither one has to ask for help getting somewhere.
Could this change something for your family?
Explore your situation before scheduling. The guided conversation helps DOSHI understand what may now be possible.
Yes. Because today’s consumer driving automation is Level 2, you can always drive the car manually. Engaging its automated features is your choice, and taking full control is always available to you.
But using it like a regular car is only the beginning. A Tesla is not simply waiting for you to operate it—it is ready and able to assist you.
It can prepare a comfortable cabin before you get inside, anticipate where you are going, guide you there with minimal input and maintain a comfortable space for your pet during short stops.
DOSHI personalizes these capabilities around your life. We teach the car what matters to you and teach you how to use it confidently—transforming it from transportation into technology that is prepared to help.
You do not need to consider yourself good with technology to benefit from it.
The standard Tesla experience is designed largely for self-directed customers who are comfortable exploring new technology on their own. DOSHI provides a very different experience. We do not assume prior knowledge, and we do not rush you through everything at once.
We begin with the few capabilities that matter most to your life, give you time to practice and introduce more only as your confidence grows.
You do not have to learn everything at once. DOSHI helps the vehicle become more useful as your confidence grows.
Yes. You do not need to purchase another vehicle or use our locating service.
We begin by understanding how you currently use your Tesla, which features you already feel comfortable with and what you want the car to make easier. We can help personalize the vehicle, strengthen your understanding of its core features and teach you to use FSD more confidently and proficiently.
You can receive personalized onboarding and the support included with your selected service without paying for a vehicle search you do not need.
Current pricing for existing owners is included in “What levels of support does DOSHI offer—and what do they cost?” above.
Training, family participation and ongoing support
Learning With Confidence
Confidence grows one useful capability at a time.
Yes—but we will not overwhelm you by trying to teach everything at once.
We begin with the core features you need to drive, charge and use the vehicle comfortably. During two in-person training sessions, we help you practice in your own car and in situations relevant to your life.
During the support period included with your service, we help you build confidence at a comfortable pace. After that period, you may continue with optional ongoing DOSHI support for $25 per month with an annual subscription.
The goal is not to memorize every feature. It is to understand the capabilities that matter to you and become genuinely proficient using them. As your confidence grows, the car can continue becoming more useful.
No. DOSHI is for anyone who wants the benefits of advanced technology without having to discover everything through trial and error.
That may be an older adult who wants driving to require less effort, a family purchasing a Tesla for a new driver, a spouse who wants more comfortable trips or an existing owner who wants to become more proficient with FSD.
Our clients are not defined by age. They are people who want to understand the technology, use it confidently and receive the full value of what they purchased.
Tesla is where DOSHI is beginning, but our larger purpose is helping people adopt life-improving technology when it is truly ready for their lives.
Yes. We encourage the people who regularly ride in or share the vehicle to participate.
Family members can join training sessions, learn how the vehicle and FSD work, understand what attentive supervision looks like and become comfortable with when the driver should take full control. We can also help set up driver profiles, phone access and preferences for those who will use the car.
This creates shared understanding. Instead of one person learning the technology and trying to explain it later, the family can experience it together, ask questions and develop confidence in how it is being used.
One decision can improve driving for an entire family—and the learning experience should include them.
Yes. Our training is most valuable when it takes place in your vehicle, on familiar roads and around the situations you regularly encounter.
Our regional service area currently includes Montana, Idaho and Eastern Washington.
We also serve clients in our initial DOSHI Network Areas: Seattle, Minneapolis–St. Paul, Los Angeles and St. George. Personalized in-person service in these areas is available for an additional $500.
Other locations may also be available, generally with an additional $1,000 travel charge. Contact us to discuss your location.
As DOSHI grows, we plan to train qualified local guides in additional communities so more clients can receive personal service without the cost of bringing someone from outside the area.
Your service includes 30 days of follow-up support after the initial training, so you have help while the experience is still new.
During that period, follow-up conversations and practical guidance can help you personalize the vehicle, prepare for a trip, understand a software change or become more confident in a particular driving situation.
After the included support ends, optional ongoing DOSHI support is available for $25 per month with an annual subscription. You can add it then or return to it later.
We will also invite you to share what challenged you and what helped it click. With your permission, those experiences can become part of the DOSHI Learning Library so future clients can benefit from what you learned. As the community grows, clients may also participate in small learning cohorts progressing through the experience together.
You are not expected to master the car during two appointments. DOSHI gives you a supported start and a clear way to continue receiving help when it remains valuable.
How DOSHI helps you begin
Taking the Next Step
Clarity comes before commitment.
No. DOSHI is a client-first technology-adoption service, not a Tesla dealership.
We identify the strongest available vehicle for you based on condition, history, warranty, technology, price and fit for your life. We make that recommendation without allowing dealer relationships or potential compensation to influence the result.
If the best vehicle is offered by a DOSHI partner, you may receive preferred client pricing and DOSHI may receive separate partner compensation. If the best vehicle is somewhere else, we recommend that vehicle instead.
We will never steer you toward a lesser car because it is more profitable for us.
No. DOSHI’s purpose is not to convince everyone to buy a Tesla.
Our current driving program focuses on Tesla because, in our judgment, its Supervised Full Self-Driving technology has reached a point where it can meaningfully improve the driving experience for many people. That does not mean it is right for every person or situation.
We help you evaluate the opportunity, understand the tradeoffs and determine whether a Tesla fits your life. Our recommendation may be to purchase one, continue using your current vehicle, consider another solution or wait for the technology to improve.
We recommend moving forward only when the likely benefit justifies the cost, effort and responsibility for your situation.
Yes. Deciding whether the technology belongs in your life is the first part of our work.
We begin with a conversation about how you currently drive, what requires the most effort, what you wish were easier, who else is affected and what level of investment feels appropriate.
Then we help you understand what a Tesla and FSD can realistically do, where the limitations are and whether the benefits address your situation. When helpful, we can also help you arrange an opportunity to experience the technology before making a decision.
There is no assumption that you will purchase a car. If the benefit does not justify the cost or the technology is not right for you yet, we will tell you.
The goal of your first conversation is clarity—not a sales commitment.
Yes. Many DOSHI conversations begin because someone recognizes that the technology could improve life for a parent, spouse, child, friend or client.
Sometimes the greatest barrier isn’t the technology. It’s beginning the conversation in a way that feels thoughtful rather than critical—and creating a first experience comfortable enough for someone to decide for themselves.
You can begin by completing our guided conversation from your perspective. This helps us understand who you are thinking about, what you believe could become easier and what might make an introduction feel natural.
From there, you can choose whether to introduce DOSHI yourself, invite them to share their own perspective or work with us on the right approach.
The person you care about remains in control. DOSHI will not pressure them or contact them without an appropriate introduction or invitation.
Starting a conversation does not commit you to purchasing a vehicle or hiring DOSHI.
First, you can complete a short guided conversation that helps us understand whether you are exploring for yourself or someone you care about, what you hope technology could make easier and which questions or concerns matter most.
You can then schedule your first personal conversation with DOSHI. We review what you shared, answer your questions and help determine whether there is a worthwhile next step.
You will leave with greater clarity about what the technology could realistically change, whether it fits your situation and what—if anything—should happen next.
Technology beyond driving
What Comes Next
We keep watching the future—so you do not have to.
Today, our hands-on training begins with Tesla and Full Self-Driving. But DOSHI is not a Tesla training company. We help people adopt technology that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.
We are watching developments in humanoid robots, autonomous lawn care, household technology, personal mobility and other emerging products. When the technology becomes genuinely useful, DOSHI can help evaluate it, select the right solution, prepare it for your life and teach you to use it confidently.
We do not recommend technology simply because it has been announced or made available.
We evaluate its real-world performance, reliability, cost, learning requirements and ability to create a meaningful benefit. Sometimes our recommendation will be to wait. Sometimes a product will not be right for your situation.
Our standard is simple:
Not when it’s available. When it’s worth adopting.
You can ask DOSHI to keep you informed about the technologies that matter to you. Tell us what you hope technology will make easier and give us permission to contact you about that interest.
When a robot or another emerging technology crosses the threshold from interesting to genuinely valuable for your situation, DOSHI can let you know and help you understand what comes next.
Your question may be the beginning of something better.
Every family’s situation is different. Let’s understand yours—and what technology may now make possible.
